That looks great. It says it's for the 2007 Jeep Patriot/Compass Service Manual. Any idea where to get a 2008?

Mine is downloading, says it'll take an hour. I have it running underneath and it's coming along fine. I have Firefox and IE7, I'm on Firefox now and we'll see what happens after the DL finishes. Many thanks! It will be nice to have it on my computer to refer to. By the way, does anyone know how the automatic dimming rearview mirror works, my owner's manual doesn't say anything about it.

It will open in Firefox but won't open any of the sub folders, this is due to the fact that third-party browsers don't support Active X controls. You may get a 'info bar' in IE7 that you'll have to click to allow it to run.

Is the manual still available because i got this:

Sorry, the file you requested is not available.

Possible reasons include:

- File date limit has expired.
- File was not successfully uploaded.

Please contact the uploader and ask them to upload the file again. sendspace is not able to help you in this matter.

Looking for Service Manual

Hey All,

Just got our Patriot on Thursday and it's a great vehilce. Got 29 Imperial MPGs on first tank. Probably 75% city driving so we are very pleased.

I'm looking to get a hold of the service manual, but it is no longer linked to the file. Any chances someone still has a copy of the file, or knows where I can get one. I realize I could pay for it, but though I would try this first.

Thanks for the info. I had downloaded it but I couldn't get it to work. Just now I read this entry went and found it opened it in IE7 selected the error line at the top and then it worked. Thanks again. I have a dial up connection which took me many hours of transmission. It would also take the same amount going the other way.
I discovered it not through this site but by doing an extensive search.

I went ahead a bought the 2008 service manual on CD; when I couldn't get this link to work. I'll try to find some where to upload it for people to get it; in the meantime someone would like it pm me.
