Works on my Mac, but not in OS X. Use Bootcamp to run it in Windows XP.

Got the material. Now I just have to see how to access it with my home computer (Ubuntu doesn't come with IE6 you know... ).

Firefox V2.0.0.11 worked fine, load the page, right click the link, choose Save File As.

BTW it's 154.9 MB.

I don't think there really is a way. Since it is an interactive manual, there is no real first page, last page kinda thing.

I dug an old laptop out of the closet and resurrected it with IE7. (Which it BARELY runs its so old)
That has become my 'manual laptop'

You could dload the 'free' manual, buy a hoopty laptop from eBay for a 100 bucks and still come out way ahead.

My elderly retired neighbor came over when I was changing my oil and saw the laptop on the ground with tools laying all over it and diagrams on the screen.
He laughed and said "My .. is THAT what is required now-a-days to change your oil?"
I told him, just for the geeks....

Mine is downloading, says it'll take an hour. I have it running underneath and it's coming along fine. I have Firefox and IE7, I'm on Firefox now and we'll see what happens after the DL finishes. Many thanks! It will be nice to have it on my computer to refer to. By the way, does anyone know how the automatic dimming rearview mirror works, my owner's manual doesn't say anything about it.

It will open in Firefox but won't open any of the sub folders, this is due to the fact that third-party browsers don't support Active X controls. You may get a 'info bar' in IE7 that you'll have to click to allow it to run.

Looking for Service Manual

Hey All,

Just got our Patriot on Thursday and it's a great vehilce. Got 29 Imperial MPGs on first tank. Probably 75% city driving so we are very pleased.

I'm looking to get a hold of the service manual, but it is no longer linked to the file. Any chances someone still has a copy of the file, or knows where I can get one. I realize I could pay for it, but though I would try this first.
