Hi everyone.

My name is Adam and I live in Poole, United Kingdom.
I bought a Jeep Patriot last year. Second hand, 2011, 2.2 CRD Diesel.
Equipped with 2.2 L Mercedes-Benz Twin-Cam Common Rail Diesel engine (2.2 L OM651 I4) and 6-speed Aisin BG6 manual gearbox.

I really love this car, but I can’t find any workshop manual for it. Does it even exist?
I bought Haynes manual, but it’s a crap, doesn’t include any details about engine components location etc.
I’ve seen some paper editions, but all about gasoline engines.
Does anyone has any information, drawing, pictures, anything to help locating components and doing repairs?

Regards
Adam

Hi, welcome to the forum.

I'd imagine there's a 2011 manual out there somewhere, but we don't have one here that I know of.

The 2014 service manual does have info on the 2.2 diesel / diagnostics and 6 speed manual transmission that might help, I've attached them to a post further down, links below:

2.2L diesel

6-speed Aisin BG6 Transmission

Full 2014 service manual here:

Feel free to browse and download anything that looks useful.

Thank you a lot.
I've just checked a few documents and it looks promising.
Thanks a lot again.

I have limited info on it that I can share due to the manual media and how it's set up.

I attached the DTC codes section with troubleshooting procedures and wiring diagrams below, hope that's helpful:

Hi Rob
I’m sorry but I didn’t find anything better than help here on this forum.

Bought Haynes online manual, but there’s mostly general car information rather than Patriot specific. They keep working on this, added some drawings and torque settings, but they’re very slow.

Good job I know a bit about cars and have a clever mechanic.

Kind Regards
Adam

I still have and use the 2008 cd-rom format factory manual that has info for both gas and diesel engines. It's in a wierd adobe svg viewer format and seems to only work on windows xp or older. I use it in a VirtualBox vm running windows xp and the vm's virtual cd drive mounts and reads the .iso file of the disc. It's not so difficult to setup as VirtualBox is free to download and use, and finding winxp installers isn't too difficult. I might be able to zip up my entire vm as well, though it's probably like 4gb in size.

I probably can, let me see where I can upload it.
