I have a 2015 Jeep Patriot and I'm having trouble finding the diagram for the relays that's under the battery I'm having a problem with random stalling and jerking I've already put new plugs in it changed the crankshaft position sensor new PCV valve it's not throwng any codes it's been to the dealership twice and they keep saying nothing is wrong with it the turn signal switch causes the dome lights to come on I don't know if that would have anything to do with it but for now I just want to try to figure out which relays would cause this any help would be much appreciated

Thank you I really appreciate it I also have another question when I was on my way to vacation I had a PCV valve fail I just put new spark plugs in it like a month prior to that and when I would start it it was smoking could a PCV valve failing and smoking cause my plugs to get fouled

If you drove it that way for a while, I'd pull a plug and check.

As far as which plugs, I've used inexpensive Autolite coppers.
Others have used iridium plugs without issue, so you could if you want.

No experience with E3 plugs, but on these engines I don't think they'll make much difference in terms of power or efficiency.

And if so can you recommend a spark plug I didn't know if I should put a iridium plugs or platinum or copper I believe what I put in it this time was champion copper. Core or autolite icr or what's your opinion on the E3 diamond fire that was what was in it when I changed them originally

So I just went and bought a OEM crankshaft position sensor because I'm having stalling problems and vibrations and I put a cheap one from advanced in it about 6 months ago I didn't do it a mechanic did it I just went and bought a factory one is there anything I need to know before jumping into this job is there a procedure I need to perform after doing it

If your turn signal lever is turning the dome light on, it's probably failing. On modern cars, these are known as multiplex switches. Basically one power in wire and one signal out wires. So say 5 volts in, then each function of the switch has resistance to change the output. Turning the right turn signal on might send 1 volts back, left, maybe 2v, etc. The discreet values can be added together to let the tipm know you requested multiple functions at the same time. Your Dome light activation might be 2.5v, but something in your switch is sending 4.5 when you only used the left signal. But the tipm thinks you requested both. I hope that makes sense.

Just a note, the switch doesn't communicate with the TIPM.

The switch communicates with the instrument cluster using LIN. The cluster then sends commands to the TIPM using CAN.

As far as I know the LIN bus is a digital signal not multiple voltages. Single wire, 0-12V
(versus CAN which is a two wire differential signal)
