Very nice! I ultimately want a Wrangler Unlimited. Of course this will be some time down the road.

Love the color!

When I started shopping for a vehicle to replace my 200,000 mile cutlass supreme I wanted a Wrangler - but even used for a lowish mileage they were out of my price range (I didn't want a car payment, so it needed to be a cash purchase).

Maybe once my Patriot kicks the bucket I can move on up to a Wrangler too ;)

I was just about to post this word for word!

I believe the color is called "Tank," at least that's what the Jeep site is showing. You are going to have a great deal of fun with your Wrangler, but lordy lordy are you going to be tempted by the almost seemingly unlimited aftermarket mods available, especially after having been denied for so long with a Patriot!

Keep us posted with a build thread that we can follow, as I can imagine how many of us fantasize about doing the same were we to make the jump.

Haha...temptation is there for sure. I've been browsing for the past couple of days trying to figure out where to start. Already ordered some stuff :D

I can't say that I won't modify anything because im always finding things that I can use / want to add. I already know that I will be getting some fuel cans at some point. You would think that with the mileage pats get it isn't an issue. That is until you get back in them woods and realize that you are almost on empy.

I would get the 2 gal instead of the 5 gal. They are lower profile then the 5gal if you put them on the roof or the flat ones that are about $60 for a 3 gal.

Another O.G. gone :( people drop like flys around here. I sure enjoyed watching your phenomenal build. You were an inspiration to all! good luck on your journey, jeep Looks beautiful. ....what a great color! keep in touch if time permits.

Thanks, guys! Hopefully it will be back on the boards with a new owner.
Adding my congrats....my wife and I often find ourselves reminiscing about our time with the CJ. Everyone needs a real Jeep in their lives at least once, ehÉ

Crap, my punctuation symbols have gone again, I keep hitting something...

TJN, detailers and the prep guys at dealerships use a plastic razor blade for stripping decals and such. Looks just like a real one but is plastic, mine are sort of pinkish.

Those and some heat would get the side decals off Ièm sure.

Sorry to see you part with the Patriot. The next owner will be lucky to have it. Your build inspired a lot of my mods and I thank you for your help and your comments. Keep us posted with updates on your new Jeep. I'm sure it'll look as good if not better than your old setup. I will definitely be jealous of the extensive aftermarket support you'll be enjoying now.

Thank you for the kind words! Glad to hear my build inspired people. I'll start a new build thread in the next few days.
