It's a lot easier to get a soft top after the fact than it is a hard top. Hard tops have their seasons to where they fluctuate on price. Usually in the fall prices start to go up. I've seen hardtops sell from $1000 to $1600.

I picked up a soft top for $400

Nice JK

Congrats on the Tank Green JK Sport,I've been kicking the idea around as well, and in that colour too!!! She looks beautiful!!

As far as fuel economy(MPG)..your engine is new and tight,as it breaks in and the parts spin more freely...your MPG will improve quite a bit.

I took out a 2011 2 door for a test drive,I went out and city drove it then went out on the highway, and re-set the fuel monitor....I was getting,on cruise control,@ 90-KMH 8.8 to 9/L-100km...which surprised the shyte out of me....They said the engine @ 45,000 kilometers was just nice and broke in...well it certainly was...and that was the old style engine...the new, since 2012> gets better fuel economy...if you let it....So wait till the engine frees up,I think you will be surprised.

Oh,and we need more pics please!!!

Cheers,
Bill.

1700 miles on the clock and it was time to test its offroad capability. I picked up Rubicon rock sliders last night and installed them this morning. My buddy and I decided to go down the Pony Express Trail at Riverton off Hwy 50. It was 7.8 miles of gravel, sand and medium size rocks. It is rated 2 but it seems there was a recent fire and the trail was cleaned from fallen trees and branches. The recent rain didn't help much either as it created numerous washouts and muddy puddles. The JK made it without trouble but certainly made me sweat a little going through some deep washouts. It was definitely a fun afternoon. It took me more than 3 hours to clean all the dirt and sand off. Sorry guys no pictures this time.
