Check engine light comes on after oil change

I have a 2015 Jeep Patriot. The last three times I had a scheduled oil change, when I got the car back, the check engine light was on. Prior to the oil change, the light was not on, and I was having no issues. All three times, I had the technician take a look at it before I left the facility, and they said the code wasn't even a valid code. They turned off the light, and I continued to drive the car with no issues. The light did not come on, and everything seemed normal, until the next oil change.

I am about to go in for another oil change, and suspect the same thing may happen again. Has anyone had this happen to them, and do you have any insight as to what is causing this? The vehicle only has 44K miles on it, and I have had all scheduled maintenance done. I have had no problems with the car, with the exception of some engine stuttering one day about a year ago, after I got bad fuel. This was verified as the problem by a technician at our local jeep dealer, because four other vehicles had come in with the same problem, after fueling up at the same station, that had water leakage into their tank. I also had to replace a faulty wheel speed sensor several months ago.

Appreciate any help or guidance you can provide!
