In my 2013 Jeep Patriot on the fuse panel #29 say Hot Car / no fuse needed? What does that mean. My son is trying to figure out why my vehicle is running hot and slowing it down until I have to stop until it cools. It has done this twice in about 3 months. Once it has been turned for about 30 minutes it drives fine. I think thermostat is stuck.

If you're referring to the dash indicator over the engine temp gauge (pic below), that's the transmission overheat indicator.

A common cause is the transmission fluid and filters needing changed, it should be done every 30-50k miles rather than the 120k the service manual states.
