Filled up with gas and found out I got a wonderful 19.9 miles go the gallon..

I'm not impressed.

However I did have the AWD system engage because of the snow we got so I guess a drop in milage is somewhat to be expected..

The cold and pushing through snow has mileage way down. My Scoob is down from 28 to 24 and I drove my wife's mountaineer the other day it's at 13.3. I haven't even checked the patriot.

Creation- spacers look good sitting nice and flush.

Thread seems to be doing good so far. I guess carpet mats arient the best idea then, Maybe I should look into lower profile rubber ones. I currently have a "diamond plate" pattern one, but the diamonds stand up a good half inch, which leaves plenty of room for dirt and junk.
hey weather tech ones are about 100$ for whole car, and they look sharp fit in smooth and perfect, and no matter how dirty they get when washed off look brand new again

also just use a bat for rolling:p

i just didnt know the right way was with a bat..

Ugh, I must have backed over or hit something which pushed my muffler up and now I have a melted bumper.... Though it should help with departure angles, right?

I can't imagine this costing too much to be fixed. From what I can see, it's just the black plastic that is damaged and the muffler needs to be realigned. Has this happened to anyone? I'm not gonna be drive it to prevent more damage

First, sorry to hear that. Second, yes, it has happened before except the guy didn't want to admit his fault and was trying to persuade all MK owners to file a lawsuit against Jeep. Long story short all of his videos got removed and we haven't heard from him since.

I have a partially melted bumper too, but not that bad. I made the noobish mistake of turning while backing down a hill at the sand dunes, had to be pulled out by another group member's lifted JK. I don't have tow hooks, so the strap had to be attached to the suspension arm. Ended up the strap pulled the bumper partway over the exhaust, but it just melted back into position, with a kind of torn look there.

Wow...that's bit of an extreme way to handle things on his part. Personally, I'm a big fan of taking responsibility for my screw ups lol

Reallllllyyyyyy wanting to lift my Patriot soon......if only I can get my wonderful parent's (who are the technical signers of the Patriot) to get over their "keep it stock" complex..

get it dirty often enough, they might see the light. Pretty big "might" though. After all, if it's technically their vehicle, it's technically their choice. Maybe see if they'll sign it to you, or get a Jeep of your own. More options than meets the eye at first glance.

OMFG. I know the feels. My gf Says the same, every time I mention Duratracs. "Put SRAs back on it" she says. "They came with it" she says.

They're just "Okay" I say. Aggressive winter tread when I need it, back to "comfort" for the other six months.

Good to know I'm not the only one that gets shot down on mods! I was planning on putting 15's with Duratracs and they shot that down so fast it made my head spin...it took an act of congress to convince them that changing the radio out wouldn't blow up the car. I'm hoping to have more luck with that lift kit idea...

THIS! It infuriates me! I did the magnet mod a week ago and you'd think I'd rattlecanned the rims!!! UGH. I know the feels :(
