Ha, you must be very skinny fireelf210!

Here's a pic of a another Patriot in public service. Crisp and sharp in white: View attachment 95844
Very nice . Has to be a very interesting job. As for the skinny part...Not so much. 🤣
Whole career of backing up fire trucks and ambulances has trained me to back up with mirrors only and into tight spots. There's more room under that sign to open the door than it looks.

Bought a 2,0 CRD a month ago for my wife. Drove it home over the mountains from Oslo. 550 km/ 8m hour drive.
We both love it. Chipped it from 140 to 180 hp and bougth BFgoodrich AT 265/65/17 tires for the summer.
All Patriots for sale here are diesels but nice with an average of 5 liters per 100 km on the highway. My 99 Dodge Durango needs 4 times as much on Petrol (luckely its runs also on LPG, that reduces costs by almost 50%)

Greetz from Ă…lesund Norway.

We broke up into smaller convoys on the day of the Jeep Club training day, there were 5 vehicles in mine...

My Jeep Patriot FDI
Jeep Wrangler TJ
Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 2020
Jeep Grand Cherokee 2012
Jeep Gladiator Rubicon

That last pic where my rear wheel is in the air.... Only the Gladiator and GC trailhawk made it up! So I didn't feel so bad because even the TJ didn't make it up!!!!

The Gladiator Rubicon gave the impression that no driver skill is required whatsoever. You just set it in low, hill ascent control at whatever speed you like, lock the lockers, disconnect the swaybar and the vehicle drives itself up the hill!!!!! You just steer.... My 6 year old could do that!

Apart from that one hill, I was able to keep up with all the other Jeeps on the day.

I've said it before, the little Patriot never ceases to amaze me
