I like the look of Raised White Letters on tires. Complements the tires and adds nice detail. Unless you are a "curb" rider or likely to heavily scuff em up, face them out.

Out! That's why they make them that way: it makes your Patriot look fancier. On a sports car, truck or Jeep, OWLs are a statement. Yes, off-roading will beat them up, but off-roading will beat up the rest of your Jeep, too. Mud, dents, scratches, and scuffed OWL tires are Jeep bling! I kinda like the look of road salt on mine in the winter. (I know, I know, salt eats cars) Salt means my Patriot does what its supposed to do -- it gets me through the snow.

Or you can keep it in your garage. It will stay shiny, wear no road salt, get no dents or scratches, and your white letters will do nothing but yellow with age. And you'll have no fun. :crying:

Really like them so far. They have a little road hum.
Looks fine to me.

Back when my Patriot was new, the stock SRA's with the letters facing out looked pretty good

But after running lots of rocky trails, they looked like this

So when I got the Duratrac's I had the letters turned in. I don't think they look all that bad.

Looks good either way, just personal preference...

White Letter Out is how it came from the factory with those lame Wrangler SRA's,
just mounted a set of Hankook Dynapro ATM in 235/65/17
and get light rubbing at full lock on inner front plastic wheel well liner
(they clear the pinch weld by about an inch)
