Jeep wouldn't start two days ago.
1st and 2nd attempt - starter cranked, then all dash lights went completely off and came back on. After that, just heard relay clicking but no start.

Immediately checked with JScan - no codes. MIL (Check Engine) light wasn't on.
Checked relay box, ground connections, and battery voltage - showed 11.3V.
After charging, Jeep started normally. No MIL light.

Didn't want to risk it - installed brand new battery. Took it for a test drive right away.
At low speed (<10 mph) during a right turn, it stalled. Coasted to shoulder. Restarted fine but had rough idle. Then returned to normal and made it home.

Scanned with JScan again - only one(!) code: P0200 (Injector Circuit Malfunction).

Checked all wiring near injectors, relay box (mine's relocated near TIPM), and ground points. Engine idles smoothly.

Relay box and relays in perfect condition. Grounds are good. All injector connectors too. Even hit everything with Liqui Moly contact cleaner.

Big question: What's causing this? Could it be the CKP sensor (crankshaft position sensor)?

Now I'm scared to drive this thing... Help me out guys!

IDK if this is the cause, but check the battery cable connection at the TIPM.

If it's loose it can kill power to lots of things.

Thank you! I will definitely check this wire.

But it seems to me that if there was a problem with it, there would be more than one code..

n.b. I'm trying to analyze whether this error is related to the battery replacement or not.

Possibly, but if the cable connection were intermittent, it would be like only momentarily doing the battery cable reset to clear codes and reset the system (instead of keeping the cables touched together for 10 minutes). Sometimes it clears all the codes, sometimes not.

This is the reason I mentioned it:

then all dash lights went completely off and came back on. After that, just heard relay clicking but no start.
Do let us know what you find.

While I don't see a p0200 code in the Patriot service manual, this code does work like the p0300-304 misfire codes in that p0200 is random or all injector faults and 201-204 would designate a certain cylinder. The check procedures is available in the Patriot charm.li website for checking the power and wiring. Also, the injectors are ground switched by the PCM, so checking the usual under hood grounds for corrosion would be a good step too

Turn ignition on but don't start slowly step on gas pedal all the way to the floor and slowly release repeat two times turn off take out key for 10 seconds and try to start. Let it idle for 10 to 15 minutes
