It's done!
epper:
Today, I finished installing my new Head Unit and it sounds AWESOME. Of course, that was after I found the `LOUD`button hidden in the Menu.
My Patriot came with the most basic version of the RES Media Center that Mopar makes so I decided to beef it up a bit.
After reading up on many different threads here, about the CANBUS system and the advice given by n4cr2k here: http://www.jeeppatriot.com/forum/showpost.php?p=259075&postcount=20,
I went ahead and ordered the cheap harness.
I'd say it took me about 12 hours to get the whole thing completed (including running the wires for the Sub, power from the battery). I'm sure there's many more hours I could add if I included the time I spent shopping and researching.

The wiring harness from eBay:
Here`s the 08-2010 wire harness color code, I couldn't find this online and nothing came in the package:
Soldering the wires was pretty easy, hadn't done that for a while...
Once all the speaker wires were connected, the thing didn't look as scary...
After that, it was Yellow to Yellow, Black to Black and ignored the Blue wire on the harness (blue = powering the switch for power antenna).
I got the Accessory 12V from the lighter just under the stereo...

Found the perfect hiding spot for the sub amp:
The sub... to think, I almost got rid of it last year
And the finished product:
