Misfire cylinder 3.

My 2014 Pat has about 80k on it now and has been a constant string of problems in the past few months. Started with an overheating issue, which lead to replacing the t-stats, water pump and all fan relays. Did a complete flush of the cooling system. Seemed to do the trick for a month. Now the engine light has been coming on and off. When starting it misfires hard. The code has come up p303. I changed all the plugs and coils, the issue is still there. The other day it started blowing white smoke when started, and misfiring, but all these things work out after it runs about 30 seconds to a minute. I’m hoping it may be fuel injectors, but am worried that the head gasket might be blown. I’m still getting good mileage 22, and not loosing coolant that I can tell. Anyone have any ideas or experienced similar issues? Thanks for any input!

I would bet on it being a head gasket.

Could be a head gasket.
Take the oil filler cap off and check on the bottom of it for any milky goo.
Check the coolant for bubbles or milky sludge
Do a compression test.
How did the plugs look when you replaced them? Any fouling?

Took the oil cap off, there is some caramel colored goop on the inside of the cap. The dip stick is clear. When I open the coolant reservoir there is some bubbling and when taking the radiator cap off the coolant drains right in to the reservoir, doesn’t stay in the hose. The plugs did not look bad when I replaced them. It looks like all signs are pointed to a blown gasket.

I had a Chevy mini-van that after repairing some transmission fluid leakage, the dealer replaced an injector and plug to "cure" a mis-firing like you were describing. It very soon after started that white "smoke" from the tail pipe so I took it back. They diagnosed that they hadn't done the repair quite right so did a complete repair all over again. On the way home from the dealer, all hell broke look with voluminous white clouds pouring out, temp gage burying itself in the HOT, and that terrible "chug, chug, chug" that happens just before it blows up. Back to the deal and yep, it was the gasket. Since they screw up the diagnosis and repairs the first two times, they fixed it the right way finally and decided to charge me only for the parts and not the labor. Nice of them, right? After that, things were great as I hadn't destroyed the motor with all that.

I'd say your Pat is looking at needing a new gasket at least. And I wouldn't put it off.
