Want a build sheet for your MK?
Trying to figure out which options you have, like FDI or FDII?
Looking to buy and need to confirm options, like which transmission?

All you need is the VIN!

Copy and paste the link below (minus quotes) into your browser , then replace the xxxx.... with your 17 digit VIN and you should get your vehicle's build sheet in PDF format. Letters are case sensitive. Don't include hyphen's.

Well this is just great. I downloaded both and compared them. No surprises, but does anyone know what is meant by Firm Feel Power Steering since I didn't see sloppy power steering as an option. And Rear Seat Heat Ducts? Where are they?

Thanks for the link. Now i have proof positive that my 2011 has the cvt ll trans but no oil cooler. Was thinking about doin a trailer hitch but wasnt sure bout doin one due to the miles 94k. Now i am looking to do the oil cooler to help with possibly towing long distance. Any thoughts?

This should probably be in another section, but anyway, adding an engine oil cooler certainly won't hurt for long distance towing, though I would keep the load as light as possible.

I'd also be sure the transmission fluid and filters have been recently serviced, and you might consider adding an aftermarket trans cooler along with the factory one to help keep the trans temp down.

Sandstone,

I gave it a try very cool to see what the spec sheet said even being with my oldest when first purchased ( his first new vechile ) I cared more about the deal and it being basic Jeep then the spec sheet on the window.
On the spec sheet it states extra 6.5 gallon of gas (what am I missing or not understanding with that line )

Still running Great after the Tranny/clutch swap fingers x

Thk you, cool to see 11 yrs later,

Rich

Any chance that's US only? I entered my VIN and it said "No records found corresponding to the VIN provided "

Make sure that there's no blank spaces in there, either before or after the VIN. I copy/pasted my VIN in and got the same error, then noticed that there was an extra space at the end. I removed that and it worked.

It worked with a UK VIN, so I'm not sure why it didn't work with yours.

Tried it with this Canadian spec'd Patriot and it worked:

You are absolutely correct. I had reversed 2 digits in the middle of the VIN. Once I corrected that, it worked perfectly. My apologies.

Getting off topic, but the clicking you're hearing may be due to a failing outer CV joint.
Thanks for the suggestion but that's not the noise I have now.

I looked up the mechanics report and he stated "Tires are oversized. Rubbing on inner fender liner. Spacers not recommended. No visible wear to tire"
