The lift height is 15 1/8". I have a couple of 1/2 planks that I can stack under it if I need to.

Another thing I like is how the top of the ram is grooved so the edge of the rocker fits down in it a little.

 

I agree with Sandstone. The 15 inch capacity is enough to get the tires off the ground on my Pat with 16" wheels. You can gain 3 inches easily with some blocks of 2 x 6 lumber. Even the 20 ton models only gain you 3 inches.

At some point, its safer to go to a floor jack if you are looking to get 20" or higher. Unlike Sandstone, I don't like using the pinch weld to jack on, so I use other points. I've seen too many bent pinch welds....but that's just my opinion.

 

Using the pinch weld can distort the shell and will cause damage to the welds thereby compromising body integrity. The Patriot has 4 weight bearing jacking points designed into it, see the service manual for their location.

I bought 2 hydraulic jacks like the one pictured above. This makes rotating tires from front to back easy as I jack up one side of the Jeep after loosening the lug nuts.

 

I have the Torin jack that I got from Walmart, and it has treated me well.
