I just bought a brand new 2012 patriot 2.0 and i wanted to know how to remove the fog light bulbs out the casings. I was searching through google and jeeppatriot.com, but i couldn't find any posts related to this particular vehicle. so i was wondering if you fellow "riots" could help me out on this?

This is how I do it, I get a small flat head screwdriver and gently pry the fog light out, it's held in by 3 pins ( totally blanking on the specific name of the pins). Once that it out you just have to squeeze the prongs to get the bulb off, then you can change it from there.

Thank you. It actually came right out and i got the bulbs out without any scuffs and cuts. I know that hid fogs are just useless without a projection. But nonetheless Im thinking about putting some 3000k hids in the fogs but i couldn't finding anything that will fit the stock fog casings at a local shop. So what type of hid kits would fit on my stock fog casings?

I bought some 6000k LED replacement bulbs for my 2012 patriot they are pretty bright and look cool. They were psx24w 9009 2504 6000k HID Led bulbs. $34.99 on ebay... asy to install once i was able to squeeze my hands in behind the bumper. I am looking for a brush gaurd/ bull bar that doesnt cover the 2012 Fog lights. All the other years have the fogs out further.. grrrrr
