you can do the plasti dip i did on mine, on yours. The headlights are different sizes for pre 2011 i believe? when ever the update happened.

I really just feel the angry adds a personality to the jeep, to me it looks like a deer in headlights (the headlights being the eyes and the mirrors being the ears of a doe) for some odd reason, then again i did hit a deer before in an old car haha

 

The headlights are the same but the grill is different so they won't fit any pre-2011 models.

how different is the shape of the headlights? I keep trying to figure out how much modifying would be necessary to fit previous years. are they oval in a different direction or perfectly round on one?

 

im not sure, the closeist person to me in spokane washington i know with an older jeep is mopar number 1, ill keep them in my trunk and if i see an older patriot i may get out and sneak a few photos for you sask when they arrive

I dont see how the headlamp cutouts should be different... They are all slightly oval-shaped. The only difference between the generations' front bumpers is the 07-10 have a single piece, wide fog, large grill. The '11-15 have 2 piece, narrow fog, small grill. Without changing the headlamps themselves, they couldn't have changed the cutouts. I say we both measure the diameter of the cutout, both top-bottom/side-side

I bought some headlight trim some months ago designed for 11-14 models and it didn't fit my 2010. Real world testing for ya all.

But I notice in the link it says 2014 headlights will fit all the way back to a 2007. I think I'm going to take the chance and order them.

The trim wouldn't sit flush and there was quite large gap. With my OCD that was a no go.

 

Why not compare measurements between the 2 models before purchasing...

 

I have the new verison jeep n they shall fit they are made for it, but I'll do measurements for some older jeeps when they get here

 

No dice on a 2007 then?
