Finally got one!

After a few weeks if deliberation and planning, I drive out of the dealership with a 2013 patriot sport in the all so elusive Black forest green pearl. It's going to be my spare/family trips car. I only want to do a few mods, mostly for convenience.
I have already noticed a few things I'm going to have to bring it back for to get checked out. The cvt whine, I'll see if I can get them to flush the transmission (I'm at 82k), lots of squeaking from the rear, which I read could be the bushings or e-brake cable needs to be tightened. Also a very low screeching from the front end while driving sometimes and all the time when braking. I told them to take care if it before I purchased it and stupid me didn't take it for a second test drive after they told me it was just surface rust from sitting on the lot so long.
But without further ado,

Congrats on the Pat!

On the trans, no need for a flush, only a drain and re-fill with filter change is needed.

The rear suspension squeaks could be dry sway bar bushings, or dry ball joints in the toe links and/or lower control arms.

You can spray the sway bar bushings with white lithium grease or use graphite.

The ball joints can be lubed with regular grease by using a flat screw driver to push the rubber grease seal back from the center mount, then use a injector needle on the grease gun to get the grease in. Use a pair of channel lock pliers to work the link/control arm back and forth to move the grease around.
