HI there, I was wondering if anyone knows how similar a Caliber and Patriot are? I know they are based on the same frame and pics of the engine bay look identical. Specifically, I'm looking at a strut brace bar for a 2007 Caliber 2.4L to fit my 2007 Patriot 2.4L. The dealership said it wouldn't fit but I have a feeling not too many people are modding Pats around here so I don't think he was knowledgable enough. Anyways, the bolt pattern on top of the struts are identical and I don't mind drilling an extra hole or something but I just want some more opinions on whether the Caliber and Pat are the same width between front struts, etc...Any noted similarities would be appreciated. I'm not sure if I know how to post a link for the brace I'm looking at but I'll try.
Also, any opinions on strut brace bars would be appreciated as well. Thanks for reading. I started a thread on this already but perhaps it will recieve more viewings here.
