It could be several things, like a wiring issue, a problem with a wheel speed sensor either going bad or coming loose due to corrosion of the c lip that holds it, a problem with a hub, the ABS module, a failing ground, etc.

Get a code scanner that can read ABS codes, and see if there's anything stored in the system that can help narrow it down.

If you don't have a scanner a local auto parts store might read the codes for you for free.

It's hard to say without knowing more about what's going on.

There's been situations posted involving those indicators where the system starts applying the brakes when it shouldn't.

Be careful, and get it checked out ASAP.

Probably ok to drive with it for a bit, but keep your guard up.

Could be the hub / magnetic ring on the hub, or a problem with the sensor.

You could see if there's a lot of dirt build up back there and try hosing it off if there is.

Also, check the sensor and see if it's loose due to the retainer clip being corroded.

If you've noticed a roaring / humming sound from the rear left, or notice wheel hop when making a tight turn it may be the bearing.

Thanks! I sprayed it off with a hose but I don’t know exactly where it is to check. I was going to drive about 30 miles today mostly highway. I have a kid and that’s my concern. My mechanic said I should be ok to drive until they check it in a few days. I the light comes and goes

 

I should also mention I got new rear brakes a few months ago. Not sure if tone wheel is part of new brakes. Hoping just a bad sensor issue

 

The magnetic ring is part of the hub, but it's possible the sensor was bumped loose in the course of the brake work.
