Yes, Valvoline CVT fluid is compatible. You don't have to do a flush, a simple drain and re-fill is good enough.

Also, make sure you change BOTH filters, especially the cooler filter on the side of the transmission under the "soup can" or the bypass valve plate (below).

 

I've heard a flush can ruin a CVT. Might be they use the same machine as with regular transmissions, maybe not, either way the CVT is....incredibly picky. Drain and refill for sure, couple cases of Valvoline or Amsoil so you know you have enough in case of spillage or a slight leak and you're good to go.

 

Do you happen to know how much oil? Replacing both filters, and dropping pan, install new gasket. Bring new fluids up to around the 32-34 mark on Dealer Dipstick? Thank you for any answers
