Help. My wife's check engine light came on with the codes. I've changed the sensor on intake I changed air filter checked fuses. The fan does not come on when ac is turned on. Could it be the sensor relay?? Appreciate your help

The p0420 is catalyst efficiency code, which could be bad 02 sensors but I've rarely seen replacing both fix this code. You could try running one of the cat cleaner bottles through the fuel tank. I've seen a few videos of folks claiming cataclean works well, and folks running a gallon of laquer thinner too, but you may be staring down a catalytic convertor replacement. The fan problem is likely corrosion in that extra relay box in front of the driver wheel.

You may have to take the part number off the relay and do an online search on it. ( ebay, electronics part houses, etc.)

The corrosion can be on the relay pins, but also on the socket metal and wiring. This thread should give you an idea:

There also may be a problem with engine bay ground G111 being corroded. The wire under the crimp can corrode where you can't see it. The fix is to cut the old eyelet off, and install a new one.

More info on grounds here:

@Rhyno Ryan, you didn't mention what year Patriot you have, but there is a catcon recall that might apply:

I found the relay at autozone: https://www.autozone.com/electrical...lectrical-and-lighting/multiple-purpose-relay/p/duralast-relay-16024/518300_0_0 It's an aftermarket brand.

Looking at sites like Mouser, it seems that the OEM OMRON relay is no longer made.

Googling the OMRON number G8HE-1C7T-R-DC12 (MOPAR 68053218AA) gets lots of hits. I.E., Rock Auto - MOPAR 68053218AA Multi-Function Relay | RockAuto

Be careful. Lots of the very cheap ones for sale show "Made in U.S.A., but are actually China mfg.. A bit of digging does find some OMRON U.S. made ones.

Ok, you're probably not covered by that recall, but you could try using your VIN to check for other recalls just to be sure:
