Hi,

Just looking for a quick answer...... I have a 2014 non trail-rated 4x4 Patriot with the FD1. It has 215/60/17 stock on it. Can I move up to the 215/65/17 with no issues? It will read slower by 2mph or so... correct?

It's not much of a difference, I have 235/60/17 on mine and haven't noticed a difference. I went wider for more grip. But with a 65 height maybe it will occasionally rub on the lip of the strut.

My FD1 came with P215/65R17 Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's. Basically a barely dirt-worthy, barely fuel efficient tire that looks just mean enough for a Jeep. Biggest available stock size, so if you get that size, you can take the vehicle straight to the dealer and have them reprogram the ECU for it. Then your dash will still track accurately.
