My son was driving when hit a pot hole soon afterwards it lost all power and was misfiring rough. I had just put new alternator and battery on it and since this I've not been driving it at all and have replaced everything I can think of but still misfiring rough idle and all. Did scan on it numerous times still receiving P0017,P0300,C342D,P0055,C3064,C2174. Would greatly appreciate any help or advice.

Welcome to the forum!

Of the codes you mentioned, only the first two are in the service manual I have.

Since all was well until the pot hole, then all these error codes, I would start by checking for loose connectors, especially the two on the PCM and all the connectors on the TIPM / fuse box.

Hopefully the pothole didn't damage or knock something loose inside the engine.

You may need to get a scanner that can read and display live data so you can see which sensors are having issues while the vehicle is running.

I'll mention too that due to the age of the vehicle, corrosion of the wires under the crimp in one or both of the grounds in the engine bay could have been developing and the shock from the pothole finished the job, causing some of these codes.

If so, the fix is cutting off the ring lug / eyelet, stripping all the wires back, and adding a new ring lug or lugs.

I've checked all wires and sensors replaced both the vvt seloniod,O2 sensor, air flow sensor, fuel pump, along with everything from 1st post. Now jeep has trouble starting but eventually does and still misfiring but it's like the more it sits and idles the better it gets til you drive it then it still misfiring rough. Tries to backfire upon starting or battery gets weak. Also there's a clinking noise coming from what seems to be the exhaust(muffler) at back of car. I'm bout to go insane without my ride almost a month now.

I've even checked the wiring under steering wheel. And also the check engine light only blinks when first turn switch on along with the tire light but they don't blink at same time one blinks then the other back and forth and the lightning bolt is on when first turn switch on. I wait until it goes off and others stop blinking before starting or turning over. And when I drive it neither of them come on and after driving it then it starts easier. But when cold it takes forever to get it to crank. I'm pulling my hair out from the frustration.

If You have a code C342D that means that there is a problem with the throttle position sensor. Usually You will notice that there is a delayed acceleration from the engine when this component is failing. You may also notice that Your throttle does not match the position of Your accelerator pedal.

P0055 Code: HO2S Heater Resistance (Bank 1, Sensor 3)

The Pat is known for having major ground related issues. I would check all the ground wires found on the chassis just to the right of the screen washer resevoir. I had a number of issues which were resolved when I stripped back the wires and fitted new connectors.
