I washed it, removed the side steps, bored with it a bit..

Too early to tell as it was folded in the box so I'll let you know in a few days once it all straightens out. So far it looks like it will do its job which is to protect the seat. It fits good for a generic cover.

Showed my uncle a pic of my Patriot today. He said, "That's not a Jeep! That's a Cherokee!"... I just laughed.

Reached the end of my two day Patriot Project:

I thoroughly washed it from bottom to top
Hand polished the rims
Hand shined the tires
Washed all four floor mats
Vacuumed everything from front to back
Wiped down all of the plastic interior parts
Restored all the lower exterior black facia with "wipe-new"
Cleaned all of the windows with windex
Used a polishing compound on the entire exterior
Used a pure synthetic wax on the entire exterior
Repositioned it back in the garage and then stood and admired my hard work :)

No break in thank goodness. My laptop and mobile recording rig were in there. About a 4k backpack worth of stuff. Lol. My neighbor was being nice and cutting the yard for me and a rock straight through the window. My wife was driving and still in the jeep when it happened. Calling insurance tomorrow.

Pictures will come tomorrow!! I didn't finish until about 8:30 this evening and I felt like the lighting in my garage wouldn't have done it justice. Haha.

Picked it up from the shop again. Pin broke on the driver's door, so it only closes if I push down on the door as I close it. I guess after replacing most of the suspension and drive train including the engine, it is only expected the body will start falling apart. Too bad I thought I might actually get half of my original purchase price on a resale, should have taken the $5,000 I was offered a year ago.
