wipers won't stop, remote start not working

2011 Jeep Patriot Latitude Sport CVT 4WD - I'll try to keep this as brief as possible. I have been on this forum and followed past discussions about the wiper issue and got some suggestions, but this still persists. What I have done up until now: Fist I replaced the wiper stalk switch on the steering column, no change. I was suggested to check all grounds and remove the battery cables and clamp them together, no change. I then did a Hard Reset on the TIPM and again clamped the cables together overnight, no change. Now I just replaced both the headlamp stalk switch and the wiper motor, still no change. If I turn the wipers on, they won't turn off until I use the mist function several times and spray the washers. Eventually they will stop, but I have to use the mist function to park them back where they should be. It takes several tries to time them in just the right place.
Remote start has always worked fine until the Hard Reset, now it just blinks once with no start. I have owned this SUV since new and it has been relatively trouble free with only 74,000 mi. Throttle body and BCM are the only non-wear and tear items replaced. .It is a second car now but needs to be ready as needed. I am hesitant to take it to a local dealer due to its age and potential cost even to diagnose the issues. We all know how diagnostic time can add up in a hurry.
Surely somebody else has been through this and solved it. The reote issue isn't near as important as the wipers are now.

If it's something that needs to get fixed ASAP, I'd take it in to either a dealer or a reputable independent shop.

Without any codes and / or the help of a bi-directional scan tool that can exercise / test different modules and functions (like the LIN bus from the the steering control module to the cluster), it's hard to give a diagnosis so that's why the suggestions of things that are easy and inexpensive (or relatively so) that could be at fault, like the engine bay grounds, switches, etc.

That said, below are the diagrams for the wiper circuit and operational info.

If you've replaced the wiper motor, then presuming the park switch on the new motor is good, and the message to shut the wipers off is getting from the wiper switch through the SCM, down the LIN bus to the cluster, from the cluster down the CANbus to the TIPM, then its up to the TIPM to correctly read the park switch and shut off power to the wiper motor to park the wipers in the proper place.

Engine bay ground G112 is also involved, but you said you've checked it.

If you have a scan tool that can read body codes (most basic scanners don't), that might help.

You can also check fuses 8 and 17 (supplies power to the SCM and Wireless control module) to make sure they're good and properly seated.

Just FYI, the grounds can look good but be corroded inside the crimp pack of wires. It's really best to just cut off the factory terminal, strip off some insulation, check the wires and put new terminals on. I used the good ones with built-in shrink ends and sealant, sometimes called marine/waterproof ones.

I have tried everybody's suggestions but I have surrendered and made an appointment at my local dealer for a diagnosis of the failure. I did ask if there might be a TSB on that but was told there was none. I fear this might be the start of future electrical gremlins from issues I have seen discussed on this forum in the past.
