Two times in the past week my ABS light, traction light and 4WD! lights came on at the same time then went off shortly after. Just curious how urgent this is to get looked at and what could potential issues be? Thanks.

It could be several things, like a wiring issue, a problem with a wheel speed sensor either going bad or coming loose due to corrosion of the c lip that holds it, a problem with a hub, the ABS module, a failing ground, etc.

Get a code scanner that can read ABS codes, and see if there's anything stored in the system that can help narrow it down.

If you don't have a scanner a local auto parts store might read the codes for you for free.

Thanks so much! Is it safe to drive in the mean time?

Probably ok to drive with it for a bit, but keep your guard up. :)

Could be the hub / magnetic ring on the hub, or a problem with the sensor.

You could see if there's a lot of dirt build up back there and try hosing it off if there is.

Also, check the sensor and see if it's loose due to the retainer clip being corroded.

If you've noticed a roaring / humming sound from the rear left, or notice wheel hop when making a tight turn it may be the bearing.

Thanks! I sprayed it off with a hose but I don’t know exactly where it is to check. I was going to drive about 30 miles today mostly highway. I have a kid and that’s my concern. My mechanic said I should be ok to drive until they check it in a few days. I the light comes and goes
