Just vacuuming the system down doesn't remove much if any oil and the new freon will have some oil in it. Unless you changed the compressor and accumulator.

No problem. OK All new AC system installed. The compressor seems to be engaged all the time even with AC switch off. FAN Motor off. Compressor is not the same as my Chevy 3500. It has wires that go to the coil to engage. The patroit just has a plug at bottom of compressor. Very confused. Think it may be Real Mechanic time! Any thoughts?
 
That is as designed. No compressor clutch, instead they use a variable swash plate inside the compressor to change how much the pistons inside move and a pulse modulation of !n oil control solenoid. So the pulley is always engaged and the solenoid at the back can vary the engagement of the compressor based on engine load, temps, pressure, etc.
