Ok we have 2014 jeep patriot and our son and friends left his passenger window down and it rained last night. The passenger window now will not go up or down via the power switches. It will not work from the passenger side or the drivers side. All other windows work just fine. Thoughts? Fuse? Fried switch? Thanks

The fuse is easy to check. My only other suggestion is let it dry out real good: give it a day or two parked with that side facing the sun. If those two ideas don't solve it, hopefully it's only the switch.

PS, Welcome! Take some time and poke around the site. Like every auto site, you can find out about the common problems and there's a lot of good advice about how to address them.

Some have had luck with disconnecting the battery, pouring some isopropyl alcohol in the switch, working the switch back and forth, waiting 15 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate, then reconnect the battery and try. The alcohol will help dry out the water and clean the contacts.
