Looks like it's still in pretty good shape. :)

Keep a lookout for corrosion especially if you're in a "salt state" i.e. Michigan, Minnesota, etc.

If you see it on the sub-frame/cross-members you may want to have them sprayed with fluid film or treated with something like Krown rust control.

Nice ride! Looks like you've taken good care of it. You took a nice photograph -- it looks professional.

my car just started showing rust on the right side sadly on the rear passenger door. i don’t want anymore rust on it, i do live in michigan sadly. thank you for the suggestion! i just put $2000 until it with both back wheel bearings and new tires plus other things

thank you! i do take care of it as much as i can. i just put $2000 into it with wheel bearings, brakes, and tires. at the moment, i definitely want to see if i need a transmission fluid change or any new belts since it’s almost 100,000 miles

It's probably time for both. Belts are more age sensitive, the transmission more distance related but you're at about the point for both. If you didn't know, the CVT transmission should be serviced every 50,000 miles. If it has never been done or you don't know, I suggest getting around to it ASAP. I hope you enjoy many more happy miles with your Patriot.

Yeah me and my dad don’t know if it ever got done, i got this car at a jeep dealership when it had around 50,000 miles. Whenever i go home from college next, i was gonna do the transmission fluid because there’s not many places by my college other than belle tire, and basic oil change places and there’s a couple car repair places

A dealership probably goes by the owners manual and that wouldn't call for transmission service for another 50,000 miles. They probably figured it didn't need it yet, and going by the book they'd be right. I'm just saying that CVTs need service more often than the book says.

You'll probably get better service from a reputable dealership at home than you would from just anybody near your school if you're a non-resident college student.
