So I know I dont have thermostat issues nor do I have issues with no heat, but its -34 in manitoba Canada at this very moment, and I find that the jeep can't keep up with the cold temp, is there a leather grill over out there anywhere for patriots?? Or anything that can help? Or do I have to do the classic trick of cardboard? Please help!!

Hi, winter is coming here in Canada (-7 celcius this morning) with the fuel comsumption increase due to cold start and longer engine warmup time. I have a scangauge and I noticed that the radiator is really effective to cool the engine. The water temperature just barely hit 80 celcius this...

Cardboard is cheap and it works! I've noticed my Patriot can't maintain heat when it's severely cold. My area doesn't usually get that cold, but last year it did. I've found that if I turn off the heater for a couple miles the temp will recover.
