I some how got out of my Jeep Patriot today and traded it in for a 05 Mustang GT black on black.. and well.. I have to say I missed the HP and the lovely v8 sound!

The Jeep was a cool experience but I just had too many issues with it and most of all the lack of hp. :(

Sorry to have to let it go but it was for the best. It was nice getting to chat with some of you. There are some very nice people on this forum!

Later guys... take care! :smiley_thumbs_up:

Well when its gotta go , its gotta go!! I must admit if I had a vehicle I was not 100% happy with I'd have to dump it!! Anyway best of luck with your new Ride...Just be careful out there!!

HP? Could have tried the Grand Cherokee SRT-8!!!

Good luck with your new wheels.

She'll be back... once there are kids to haul around. :)
Carseats are a little hard to use and there isn't enough trunk space for a stroller.

Sorry the Patriot did not fit your current needs.

Camaro!!!

Hehehe... just joking Girl. I am glad for you but, really, why leave? Just because you have no Patriot? You can stay... you can share your 'Stang experience with us still... and pix! Several member here have no Patriot as it is. In fact, I believe Gaze would even be willing to change your user name an all under the circumstances.

Stay... hang around a bit. Where else will you hear the adventures of the "Whirlwind Frying Pan Mom!" and her inseparable sidekick... "Uncle Kah Boy!"???

Good luck darlin' have fun with the Mustang and when you need a hauler come back home. Keep on visiting with us, though, just cause you have different wheels, doesn't mean you're not welcome to sit by the fire with us and gab!

It is funny how women deal with this type of problem. Men just build another garage and add to the vehicle collection.:)

Women are full of practicality... that's the MAIN reason we need them the most... that... and to keep us in our place. Not everyone can be Jay Leno...

Good luck with the 'Stangs! Don't forget to wear a ball cap backwards when driving it! :p

lol.. You guys are funny. Yea I will probably still come on but just not quite as much. ;-)

Here is some pics of the stang the way I bought it. ( why I say that is it will change soon because I am not into putting 22"s on a stang and all that chrome)

It does turn some heads though.. I have to say. In one day I had 4 people stop and ask me about my car or just comment on it. lol.. One guy started taking pictures with his cell phone. It does get the young crouds attension for sure..

You are right. That chrome just doesn't go as far as I'm concerned. We had two matching black Subaru's in 1990. I had the Legacy 4 Door with 5 speed stick and my wife drove the Laegacy wagon with automatic. They were a rich black with matching accent striping. Not striping as wild as I had on my 56' red & white Chevy Bel Air coupe with v8 Powerpack, nosed and decked, lowered with rear fender skirts, but still very cool looking! Be sure to show us drooling guys how she looks after you clean her up.

Well, like an old hot-rodder friend of mine always said, "there's NO SIUBSTITUTE for cubic inches!" He ran those 400+ V-8s. When I took him up in my Pratt and Whitney powered Stearman biplane--9 cylinders, 985 cubic inches and a cool, constant 450 hp--he merely stated, "see what I mean!!"

Bon voyage...«happy trails to you....until we meet again».

Would have add this Mustang to my sport car collection in my youger years (Datsun 280Z, Toyota Supra 87) Very nice machine!
