I checked it out, that blue is one that'll make you stand out in a crowd. The Orange I don't think will be bad. I'm guessing it's the exact same color that was used on the Dodge Neon. I like that color!! BUT if your the type of person who wants to noticed or different the blue is one way to go!! I'd actually like to see a sample of a paint chip.

Did you look at the picture I created of the Surf Blue Patriot? It is in this thread. It is definitely going to be bright blue. It might be right up my alley because I have an Intense Blue Dodge Dakota (probably not as bright as the Surf Blue) in the garage.

On my way to lunch I drove past a very lifted and very bright blue Cherokee. I liked it lots! :smiley_thumbs_up:

I sure hope the drum brakes thing is a glitch... That would be quite a step back. The all-wheel discs brakes are part of what brought the Patriot to my attention, along with the ABS and airbags.
Rear drum brakes are Standard on the Sport. All-wheel disc brakes are Standard on the Limited and Optional on the Sport.

I see the light colored bumper is still on the Limited model, much prefer the monochromatic look myself. There's a real nice black trail rated 07 Sport sitting in my local dealer's yard and I am drooling, but my wife and I have agreed on red as the color because we had a black 90 Legacy wagon and it was hot. I guess I'll be ordering an 08 model if I can get the funding.;)

'08 Antenna

I somehow ended up at Autoblog.com and found a bunch of pictures titled "2008 Chrysler Group vehicle line Gallery." There are a few pictures of a steel blue Patriot (scroll down to the thumbnails). If these are truly the '08 models, the antenna will not be changing for '08.
The antenna is not changing for '08. Still on the fender. Confirmed that this afternoon as I was making my arrangements for a trip to the plant on Monday. The antenna install verification equipment is why I'm going....

Huntyeraws, I like that treatment and those tires are cool looking how about having it in camo?;)

I just went to the jeep.com web site, but the "build and price" section is down, guess they're updating it to the 08's.

Ba da da da da da dee dee do! Ay Yep, thet's a winner all right!:Racing:

I just went to the jeep.com site and it has been updated. The Patriot Sport now has optional features that were only available if you got the limited, such as the heated seats, EVIC, tonneau, and the packages are better organized to my eye. The Sport set up the way I would want it comes to 23,660 and lets me stay without that chrome bumper, which I don't like. It still shows 2007 as the year, but I don't figure the price should change much for 2008. My dealer has a great reputation so I don't expect any gouging. I want this car so much, I can taste it, but there are a few things that have to be put in place before I can order it. Wish me luck, folks!:carryflag:

Oh, I almost forgot. Thannks, Milous, for the great detailed breakdown of options it was very decent of you to go through the effort to post them.:notworthy:
