Thank you Patriot

Very sad to say that we are no longer going to own a Jeep Patriot after today. Our 2014 Freedom Edition 4x4 has been good to us but my wife got a promotion and decided she wanted a Dodge Challenger. As much as I tried to talk her out of it, her mind was made up! I'll be dropping the Patriot off and picking the Challenger up this afternoon. The Patriot was a good vehicle that was fun to drive; I hate to see it go. I'll stop by the forum occasionally since my mother-in-law still has a '13 Patriot.

Beautiful Challenger. The wheels are kinda weird, though. They sort of look like mags off a late 70's Mongoose BMW bike.

I guess they're not terrible. I just prefer black rims myself. Rims are a cheap upgrade in the future on any car.

That Pentastar V6 is a nice engine. 6 seconds to 60 mph. Probably not much slower than a 1970 Hemi Challenger.

If the dealership doesn't offer much, just sell it yourself privately for way more. Dealership offered my mom $3k for her old car; i sold it for $12k for her.

Working on 30,000 miles. I checked the web and $15,000 was on the high end; some traded as low as $13,000.

He actually bought a Barracuda, not a Charger, uh, I mean Challenger. I miss Plymouth!

Maybe if his wife wouldn't mind, maybe a photo op in front of one of these beauties:

Apologies if it seems i am hijacking your thread but going off some other comments on here. I have a 2015 with 10k on it and the dealership offered me $12k to buy it.

Thanks! I'll have to turn the Challenger into a time machine to get a photo op of the GC U boats. At least one made it to a museum but the rest are gone from the Georgia Central
