Backed it out of the garage, and just for kicks and giggles(been getting a little bored here) decided to keep backing up all the way to the mailbox, about a tenth of a mile on an ice-covered gravel two-track driveway. Got to practice using my rearview mirrors, and I didn't have to turn around to get back.

^^ I love driving in reverse!!

Today I changed my cabin air filter for the second time ever, the old one was about a year old but naturally looks darker from the carbon media/material. Just a cheap Fram I think..

Replaced it with an OEM Mopar cabin filter because it was the only one I could find made in the USA. Just a few dollars more but it's worth it to me.

I look forward to breathing easier, I got Influenza last week... :(

tried installing my new LED bulbs in the dome lights tonight, but I ran in to a problem. I put them all in. 1 red, 1 white up front, 2 white in back. I tried all white, all red, 1 red and 1 white in both front and all rear. no matter what I did, the lights wouldnt work unless I used an original bulb as well. IE: in front - 1 LED + 1 original bulb is the only way that one LED would work.

Any ideas why?? I was hoping to have new lighting inside my snow-buried pat tonight lol

Does K&N make one of these?

Did you try switching the bulbs end to end. That does seem odd as I haven't had that problem in either of my jeeps when I switched out to led bulbs.
No i didnt try that. Ill give that a try today. 42mm festoon LEDs, those are correct right? And these should be a matter of popping out the og bulbs and putting these is?:confused:

LED's are Light Emitting Diodes. That means they are directional. I ran into that when installing mine.

Today I acquired a new dime sized rock chip in my windshield! I hate Michigan roads. Road patching crew was out... car quite a distance ahead of me apparently sent a piece of the patching material flying at me.
2 weeks ago I had 2 other chips repaired! Wonder how the insurance is going to feel about repairing another so soon...
I'm starting to wonder if maybe I have some kind of rock magnet installed on my windshield?

Check with another company before you call your insurance. Depending on where you are it may not be covered. I work at Geico and in Florida you only get one windshield replacement. Anything else is your deductible.

They cover chip repair without charging a deductible, if the repaired windshield later needs to be replaced the amount they paid for the repair actually goes to cover the deductable (working with Safelite for the repair and Allstate as the insurance company).

That's pretty awesome. I'm not sure of our policy on filing chips but just generally speaking.
