now that's a nice ride! It looks like he thought of every modification possible....all except the black muffler mod that is.

I've seen the Lambo kits on a few cars and there seem to be two levels of hinge quality. The lower level kits don't seem to work quite as well and the door doesn't shut as tight in the front. My neighbor down the street has one on his 03 mustang...and to me it feels a little wobbly. I think he paid like $500 for his kit though.

Theres normally two types, bolt on and weld on. Bolt ons are normally cheaper and thats when they tend to wobbles and they dont go up all the way. Weld ons are normally the more "show" car style. They go 90 degrees or more, and they are much more stable. But then again, your pay much more for the kit and much more for the install.

I just bought a kit from Autoloc. The slim lambo automatic door kit with remotes. I'm trying to find someone here in Vancouver, BC Canada that will install them. It's a lot more work than I had originally planned on. It's a weld on kit not a bolt on. When they say weld on, I had assumed just weld the hinge on... not even close. To install this kit you'll have to relocate your original wiring harness down and further forward in order to have a flat surface to weld on the hinge. But first you must weld on a back support bracket on the inside of the body panel so that you can sandwich the new door hinge with the welded on support on the inside, otherwise you'll just rip the body panel right off the truck along with your door. The same process has to be done on the door as well. I.E. cut and relocate the wiring harness further down the door, weld on a support bracket and then you should be good. Next step is to cut and roll the inside fender to allow the hinge full movement once installed. I can do all the wiring, that's easy but gaining access to the inside body panel is definitely not going to be easy.
