The Pat already has a trans cooler. I dont know what you were reading. People add the oil cooler all the time.

 

Two people have said they added an aux. trans cooler, but never returned with any details. But all CVT's do have a main trans cooler from the factory. The FDII models also have an engine oil cooler, and quite a few members have added that on to their FDI models.

 

I think the oil cooler is also part of the towing package too.

Not sure an additional tranny cooler would be worth it, but it might be. These trannies are not rebuilt, but replaced, so it's expensive if it goes bad.

 

I agree with everything ya'll have said. The oil cooler is part of the "towing package"

and all CVT's have a transmission cooler. I also know these transmissions are

replaced not rebuilt, which is the main reason I want a transmission cooler. I love

this vehicle and want it to last forever. I think a transmission cooler would do

wonders on the lifespan of these transmissions.
