Thought one would be on here but didn't find any solid writeups. Figured I'd post this for others and help save many hundreds of dollars having the dealer replace it. It's really quite easy and only takes a few tools. Be sure to reset your ECU by either disconnecting the battery and/or do the fuel map reset with the gas pedal. I found a new TPS for a bit over $100 on Ebay and completed the project in less than 3 hours.
Here are the tools I used, you shouldn't need all of them but it seemed to be one of those days where I dropped all the nuts, bolts, etc and had to go searching for them...lol

1/2" socket for the battery, various extensions, socket u-joint, 8mm, 10mm, screwdrivers to help with the pesky electrical connector and 13mm.

*take care not to drop and mud, dirt, tools, etc in the intake. I used a rag and a shop vac to double check I didn't leave anything in there before I reinstalled the new throttle body*

remove the "snorkus", AIT sensor and the air intake tube(8mm for the hose clamps).
Here's where the air hose connects the the throttle body. The hose clamp screw is just barely visible here and is on the top side of the hose.

You can squeeze your hand between the radiator line and the radiator fans above the cvt fill tube in this pic.

a stubby wrench might help

And assemble some extensions, u-joint and the 10mm socket to get the 4 bolts holding on the throttle body.

The electrical connector was a pain to get off, you have to squeeze both sides and one of my sides just would no release. I ended up breaking the tab on one side. Pushing the connector in then pressing the sides in and then pulling it out might help.

Then finagle it out and you're half way there.

I think only the 2nd gens have this but not 100% sure. It's a metal bracket that bolts to the block and the back side of the throttle body

Throttle body removed. The green ring is an o-ring. I'd recommend you apply some motor oil to lube it up some for re-installation.

Old one had something broken inside I think:

follow the steps in reverse to get it all back together and don't forget to reinstall the AIT sensor.

I started it up and let it idle for a bit and went for a short drive. Everything seemed normal no lights, beeps or anything. The dealer said I would need to "limp" it in to them and get them to reset the ECU and/or PCM...
