Sway bar bushings

Just changed the front sway bar bushings on my 2011 Patriot four-wheel drive if you change your bushings do it with the car on the ground the sway bar pops right up and they're really easy to install the bolt for the bushings brackets are 13 mm here's a photo of what the old ones look like they are twisted and warped I hope that's not a sign of a Bent sway bar before I change the bushings I had a bang and clunk up front now it's gone so for those of you that can't chase down that elusive bang in front end noise change your sway bar bushings and end links the end links are 15 mm the bushings are 13

Did you use any grease/ lubricant? I'm pretty sure I have to replace mine as I hear that loud clunk thats similar to others who have needed to replace the sway bar bushings, but the community is split on whether to use grease or not.

Also, as the other commentor asked, I too am curious if this is from the front or rear ? You didn't need to jack it at all?
