Huh?

I am talking strictly about the reverse light bulbs. If you put in higher wattage bulb in any socket, its going to be brighter and thus produce more light (halogen that is). The bulb I liked is for a replacement upgrade for the reverse lights only.

Everything on autoluminations website is grossly overpriced, which specific bulbs did you get?
I have the Osram 50w 7440 bulbs as backup lights

the 27W 7440 Rear signal Lights

The 27W 7443 front signal lights

Most recently I got a 25W (each) LED conversion kit for my high beams, when I get home I will post pictures of how it works, for high beams the beam pattern is surprisingly good.

I also have all the interior bulbs converted to LED's, only bulbs that aren't LED's are my sidemarkers on the front, and my low beam headlights.

I don't see the Osram 50w 7440 bulbs on their site.

And yes you do not want high powered lights on constant as running lights. They will look off, may get you pulled over for being too bright, and will damage your wire harness. Same thing that goes with high wattage halogen headlight bulbs, if you buy a 65w headlight but and throw it in your headlights you will have a melted wire harness shortly down the road.
