i'd be curious to see other similar vehicles in the same type of accident.
again the patriot proves a safe vehicle.

Ya, if you click through to the newspaper article there are a couple more pictures.
The passenger cabin appears fully intact in all of them.

Biggest thing I have ever hit was a porcupine (and that was large enough) but I just missed a black bear a couple of years ago. That could have been interesting but the Pat stopped in time.

Is what happens when you head on a 1800lb wall of meat!

Happens here all the time too, but not anywhere near heaven for me AKANGELBEAR!
In my 09 Patriot I almost hit 5 different moose over the course of my time with it. All driving north for some flyfishing early morning. Missed them all due to the fact the thing would stop on a dime, braking was unreal on that thing. Unfortunately I don't have the same confidence in this 2012 patriot with cvt, much harder to brake and seems to keep pushing when you do. Gonna have to be a lot more careful this spring

It's Jeep's darn ABS programming. With ABS disabled the breaks on the Patriot will stand you on your nose.

Ignatz- Maine created that slogan to fool you and suck you in so they can take all ur money then eff with you. These days days it should definitely say "maine- the way you don't want life to be, but we're gonna make it that"

A lot of states wont let you keep road kill for various reasons, one being some ah... less educated people buying beaters for a couple hundred bucks and clipping deer purposely. vehicular poaching at its best
