Welcome what color and what did you get on your Patriot? what is your GDO problem?

The garage door opener, if you mean the buttons in the PAT to open it, I haven't been successful in having them open the garage door, though I have been able to get them to work for opening electronic gates.

The instructions in the manual seemed perfect for me.
It took about 15 minutes and now both of my garage doors work with the buttons on the cieling.

Check the motor for your garage door. It me be a 'learning' one. In which case you have to press a button on it first, then do the programming in the Jeep. It listens for the signal from the Jeep and learns to accept its signal.

 

My door opener has the rolling code, my Magnum picked it up no problem but the Jeep will not..... The 800 # in the manual to call with problems was not working, the web site for home link gave the exact instruction as the owners manual so was also of no use....
Other than that the Patriot has been a perfect vehicle so far ; reading thru this site I'm hoping the delay on my order was because they were redesigning the 3rd gear syncro issue on my 5 speed!

 

Ordered my Patriot Aug. 21st, came in Dec 1st!?

Ha! Yeah, been around them for a long time actually. Used to have a '49 ( CJ-3A? ) I believe, was a Willys with a flathead 4 banger used ( and abused ) around my Grandfathers farm. Couldn't kill it! Small enough to run all the snowmobile trails in the area as well!
