OEM Boston Acoustics Subwoofer Box?

I was doing some searching on sub options. Basically, I didn't like any of the installs; because I use mine as a service vehicle, I need all the trunk space. However, the cubby hole is not used for anything, nor is the little notch on the left side)more of a PITA. I am either looking to make a box that can fit the spot on the left side, or getting my hands on the Boston Acoustics subwoofer box and using my own sub. Is this sort of thing possible? mopar only lists some Kicker square sub box that takes up half your trunk.

There is a current thread that a member has designed a box to fit a 8" sub into the cubby.
On the first page, You will see what he did, the schematics of the box and basically the entire installation, and the very clean finshed project. I would give that a look at.

Yeah, I saw that. Is that box bolted down? I could see the box rattling...

from the thread:
"Actually to secure it I just screwed it to the body. There's plenty of room for a screw before you go through the outer panel I think about 5 or 6 inches. I just used three 1 1/2" screws. Just make sure to screw it up before you put the sub in. It fits snug but it would rattle if you didn't secure it."
