I just got back from driving from Ottawa to Hamilton and the average I was getting was 8.4L/100kms and it didn't go any lower. I had my cruise set at 110 reving just under 2500

I have over 30,000 kms on my Patriot and ever since I got it I've always had 375 kms to 400 kms on a tank of gas. I usually fill up shortly after the light goes on and usually put in about 45 L of gas each time.

According to EVIC I get anywhere from 11 L/100 kms to 12.5 L/100 kms.

The best I've seen the fuel efficiency is when I do any long distance driving to the US. I usually have the cruise control on at around 110 kph and I've gotten it down to 10 L/100 kms.

I installed the drop-in K&N filter to see if any fuel gains but haven't seen any yet.

I'm driving: 2007 Patriot 4x4 Automatic FDI, North Edition, 26E Package, Hood Deflector

I am doing well I think. I am averaging about 8.8L/100Km right now according to the EVIC and I took it on the highway last weekend and it averaged about 8.7L/100Km according to the calculation made by halifaxgasprices.com. When it converts to Mpg I am getting 32Mpg but the EVIC is saying 27Mpg.

I have a 2008 2.4L 4x2 with CVT2 and a little over 6000K on it.

EDIT: I am getting anywhere from 500-600Km per tank.

EVIC would be Miles per US gallon not Miles per Imperial Gallon

Well we are coming up on the 20,000 km. mark and on a good day we are getting 500 km per tank, (when the red light, lights up). We are very happy with the car :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::pepper:

Well, my wife used to drive 37km to work every day, over an hour each way in stop-and-go traffic, and was burning about a quarter-tank per day. Now with our new bridge, she pays a $2.75 toll each way, but her commute is cut to 20 minutes, 16km... and about a quarter-tank per *week*. I haven't measured the actual mileage yet, but with the additional weekend driving, we're probably getting around 500km/tank and filling up every couple weeks.

I have a 2007 FD1 CVT 4X4. It now has about 75000k and I
regularly get 450k city and 550k hwy per tank. If I have a long hwy trip planned I sometimes fill the tank to the cap (I know..I know..it's not recommended) and can get 600k+. I do however keep it around 100-110 and don't use cruise.

I love the fuel economy of my Pat!!!! I am at about 23,000KM and there has been a few times I have seen my economy according to the EVIC at 7.8L per 100KM!!! Woot... The worst I have seen is 10.6L per 100KM and that was during some of the hot muggy days last month when I was mainly in City traffic.

I have a 4x2 2.4L I4 with CVT.

Averaging my last 12 fill ups (6 months) I'm getting 8.7L/100kms and almost alway over 500kms per tank. I do mostly city driving but I take it easy and shift between 2000-2,300rpm. I only use the A/C if it's really hot or I have passengers. I use ESSO gas and switched last month to 100% synthetic oil. I expect the figures to be worse once the cold weather hits again.

My first 6 month (June - Nov) = 9.4L/100kms 5,000 km
Next 6 months (Dec - May) = 9.8L/100kms 10,000 km
Last 6 months (May - Oct) = 8.7L/100kms 15,000 km

I am getting about 22 MPG. My biggest complaint is the size of the gas tank. For long distances in the midewest you have to fill up to many times.

Prouldly owner of a 2 week old Patriot 2009 FWD manual.

On my second tank, I got a nice 540 km, and I refilled with only 45 litres, just 14 km after the gas light has lit in the cluster. 70% Highway, 30% city.

I'm very happy with this mileage.

I've had the Patriot for around 2 weeks now, and I've averaged 9.35L/100km with the first 2 tanks. This is with a CVT FWD and 60% hwy. Hopefully it just keeps on getting better!

I just did a 3,000 km road trip, converted every thing back to imperial gallons and miles, and figured I got 31 miles per gallon. 50,000 km on the Patriot

It seems that the pariot is very sensitive to driving conditions. Just last month I drove to chicago from toronto and it averaged 9.3L/100km and on the way back it averaged 10.8L/100km. I took the same route both ways. The only difference that i felt while driving was when heading home it seemed i was driving against the wind oppose to on the way to chicago it seem there was no wind at all.

mine is always consistant...

Im not sure what the converted ratio is in KM/ but i get around 27 mpg every fill up.... always use BP gasoline 87 octane. 4x4 FDI 5-speed
