Yup, unless you are gumby and can snake your hand down there from above.
You might be able to do it with just the wheel turned out.

 

Fog Lights

I replaced both of mine without removing any wheels and was able to reach down trough the engine compartment to do so. It was not the easiest thing to do, but it can be done with some patience and body contorting.

I was in the shop getting my oil changed and I over heard a discussion about replacing turn signal lamps. Apparently this lady's car is more screwed up than our Patriots when it comes to replacing the bulb. The mechanic told her it would take at least an hour :wow: to remove everything to get to it.

 

Its the same as changing the turn signal bulb. Simply turn your wheels in (depending on what side you are changing) and unscrew the 3 screws holding the wheel well liner on. Fold that back and you can easily reach in there and pop off the bulb.

 

I'd expect warrantee on a burnt out bulb on an 08. Worth a try at least!

Reaching through the hood was the easiest solution. Took a couple minutes.
