When it rains or gets washed, my Patriot collects water in the driver's side front door. I took the door panel off and poured water around the straight window seal (where the window comes out of). The water is getting in around the corner, close to the side view mirror. I priced that strip at the dealer and am going to go order it today, but first I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this and if so, did that strip take care of the issue?
I did find a tiny piece of broken glass in the door, which made me notice that the window has been replaced. I hope when it was replaced, that it was done correctly and isn't the issue. The window goes up and down just fine.
