Okay so my 2011 with 277k has been acting up. Took it in for tranny flush and asked for both filters to be changed (I only see one billed) get it back and it’s worse than ever even though they figured it looked good..not going back to dodge! So it coding torque converter..we will check all wiring and what ever we can do but I bought a dipstick and chart but main question is...I just got new oil put in, so do I have to get mopar CVT or can I use any good quality CVT oil?? Anybody had experience with torque code P0741?

Welcome

First, I have to say that @277km (172k miles) if this is it's first major issue it's done pretty well, especially if it's never had a fluid and filter change before.

If they used a flush machine and solvents instead of just doing a drain and fill, that could be what did it in. Always do a drain and fill only, never a machine flush.

Hopefully when they refilled it they used CVT fluid and not standard ATF as that will ruin it as well.

You can use Amsoil CVT fluid, Valvoline CVT fluid, or Castrol Transmax CVT, yuo don't have to use Mopar CVT fluid.

P0741 has to do with the Torque Converter Clutch Variable Force Solenoid (TCCVFS) which controls the TCC apply and release pressure, and controls the TCC apply and release pressure.

Sometimes a fluid and filter change will fix it, but if not then it will likely need to go in to the shop.
