Myy 2015 jeep patriot stalled out...long story short, it threw 0339 code so I changed the crankshaft position sensor and it would just crankshaft but not start at all, I put the old one back in and it started up, I can drive for about a hour maybe a little longer on the old sensor, then it gives out, lose all power, so I got another sensor and it starts right up, runs for a minute or less then stalls out, I can keep it running in park if I throttle up to 2k, but when I keep it steady it will drop down to 1.5 then creep back up to 2 and just keeps doing that until I take foot of and then it stalls, anyone have any idea as to what I should do next?..oh and I did put a brand new battery in the process of all this.

If you're using aftermarket (non-OEM) sensors, that could be part of the problem as they are very hit and miss. Several people have reported problems.

It could be a problem with the CPS wiring, you could try wiggling it while at idle and see if that changes anything, causes a stall, etc.

It could also be a problem with the PCM.

If you haven't already, I would also recheck the codes and make sure there's nothing else going on.
