2015 Patriot, can I see some photos of how you guys have installed your radios and antennas? Where did you pull power from? Any suggestions on antennas? Thanks!

Here's my radio, it plugs into the 12v outlet:
The antenna is a Firestik II 2' with the tunable tip, on a door jamb mount (rear hatch) with the heavy duty spring added.

Thank you! I’ve seen a few posts with people putting the antenna in the hatch door jamb, which should be about perfect since I do park in a garage. I tried a mag mount on the roof, but it stuck out wayyy too high and the humps didn’t let it seat properly
I’ve thought about mounting the radio itself to the ceiling, right in front of the map lights, but I’m not sure how well it would stay up, and it would likely get in the way. Mounting it on the side of the shifter like that will likely be the route I take.

Not alot of structure to mount a radio box to above the headliner, which itself hangs down a bit. I have a Midland 1001Z mounted to the passenger side of the shifter box and used to have a magnet mount antenna just in front of the roof ridges. Now I have a mirror mount, though it's needed straightened out for a little over a year now since a Michigan whitetail decided to run into it.
I'vee got my Icom mounted on the bottom of the front console just inside the drivers door. Power run to battery and a VHF dual band and a HF screwdriver mounted on each side of the rear hatch.
